The Great Lakes ADA Center in collaboration with the ADA National Network is hosting the September session of the ADA Legal Webinar Series on Wednesday, September 20th.
The topic for this session is: Reasonable Accommodation Update. Providing reasonable accommodations so that employees with disabilities can perform the essential functions of the job is one of the cornerstones of the ADA. However, the process for obtaining and providing reasonable accommodations can be confusing for employees and employers. This session will review the latest reasonable accommodation court decisions so that all stakeholders can better understand their rights and responsibilities. Plan to join our speakers on the 20th, Barry Taylor and Rachel Weisburg, Attorneys with Equip for Equality, Illinois’ Protection and Advocacy Agency to learn where we have come and where things might be headed given current trends. Date: September 20, 2017 Time: 2:30pm-4:00pm ET (verify the time zone where you will be connecting from for start time) The session will be real-time captioned via the webinar platform. Audio can be received via the webinar platform or via a telephone connection (not toll free). Visuals will be projected via the webinar platform. A question and answer period will follow the presentation. To register for this free session go to www.ada-legal.org If you have an account with our system login and proceed with registration.
